Dreams

Everybody dreams every night, although not everyone remembers them. Writing on a piece of paper, "I remember to remember my dreams" and setting it where you'll see it as you fall asleep and first thing when you wake up will help you to remember. It may not work immediately, but you'll soon find that, more and more often, you do remember your dreams, and you're able to use them to make positive changes in your life.

We can make some generalizations about the meanings of certain common dream occurrences, although, of course, we can't say for sure that they mean any given thing to all people.

Using Affirmations Effectively

When you are in your Alpha brainwave state, which means you are between being completely awake and completely asleep, you are the most suggestible. That makes the time just before you go to sleep the best time to write out a few affirmations about positive changes you'd like to bring into your life. You can also write them upon awakening in the morning, but most people find it easier to do them at night. 

It's also a great idea to write them instead of simply thinking about them or stating them aloud, because writing is an ideomotor activity.
