According to Dictionary.com, an affirmation is the assertion that something exists or is true. Since we are suggestible to ourselves, sometimes stating what you want as though it is already true can make it more likely you'll experience the results you want. Try some of these (or create your own!), repeating them a few times throughout your day. If they don't begin to give you the outcome you'd like, tweak them a bit to suit your purposes better as you go along.
If you'd like to be more fit and healthy, use phrases like these:
"I love my body."
"I am so grateful to have a fit and healthy body."
"I enjoy taking excellent care of myself physically and emotionally."
If it's a relationship you want, repeating these affirmations might help:
"I now attract a loving, kind person into my life."
"I give myself permission to be in a happy romantic relationship."
"I radiate love and draw it back to me."
Perhaps it's your income you'd like to increase. If so, give these statements a try:
"I release old beliefs about money, and I now invite financial abundance into my life."
"I allow money to flow to me from a variety of sources."
"I am valuable, and that value manifests as currency."
Repeating affirmations such as these only takes a few seconds, but it improves your frame of mind, uplifts your energy, and causes you to vibrate at a higher frequency. The energy you put out is what you attract back to you. Have fun with this!
